It just so happens that her rendition of I Believe in You is my favorite Dylan cover. It’s a staple at our house…kids think it’s a Christmas song…hell, maybe it is. Let’s also not forget she refused a Grammy award. Maybe she’s the hero we needed but never knew it. RIP

It's a tribute to her unique voice that so many people love her covers (the hit + I Believe In You + All Apologies). She was fierce, for sure.
Well said, Paul. I bought ‘Lion and the Cobra’ after reading a R.S. review of the album. I was hooked. I saw her live in May 1990. I had never heard anyone sing with that much emotion and control before. She wore a tutu and combat boots.
